I’m very excited about the opportunity to be a part of the K12 Sports Tech AD Think Tank. From the moment I joined the team, I felt welcomed and valued. They have provided me with the opportunity to learn about new innovative technology in the space that potentially could have a major impact on my program and others across the country. As a forward-thinker, I’m thankful for this and for the ability to provide feedback on those solutions – and be paid for my insight and time. I would absolutely recommend K12 Sports Tech and the AD Think Tank to my fellow athletic administrators and to all companies looking to enter or gain traction in the school sports industry.

Being part of the K12 AD Think Tank has provided me the opportunity to learn about some of the new up-and-coming tech within the community, as well as provide future tech developers insight on the current landscape and needs of the high school athletic director. Communication has always been positive and the feedback provided to vendors has always felt valued.

K12 Sports Tech’s mission is to connect technology and athletic administrators and make the day to day easier. The goal I have as an athletic administrator is to continue to make our profession better, and the marriage between tech and athletic administration is intensifying, it’s needed…so to help navigate those waters, that’s what K12 Sports Tech is all about. They want to make our job and our day to day easier. 

The AD Think Tank is an opportunity for companies to pitch a product, a process, or a piece of technology to the high school space, and not only that but they value the feedback given by athletic directors in education based athletics. It’s well worth your time and you get a little compensation for it. It’s been beneficial for me to see what’s coming down the pipeline in this high school space.

This collaboration is not only benefiting the administrators but also significantly improving the experiences of student-athletes across the nation and around the globe.

Overall, my experience with K12 Sports Tech has been nothing short of amazing. One of the standout features of K12 is its supportive community. As an ambassador, I have witnessed firsthand the dedication of K12’s team in assisting athletic administrators and coaches. The regular communication and personalized support provided to these leaders create a nurturing and collaborative environment, fostering the growth of successful athletic programs. I am proud to be an ambassador for K12 Sports Tech and look forward to continuing to support its mission of enhancing athletic programs nationwide.

This experience has been extraordinarily refreshing in a profession that can be stagnant. The positive, friendly, outside-the-box approach offers an important connection for ADs, Administrators, and Coaches to a specific technology. While serving as District AD for 29,000 students, I was always looking for people like Abby and Alec. They understand the importance of this work and have the vision and right culture in place to help and facilitate cutting-edge technology to propel Athletic Departments in a more efficient direction.
